Is it okay to bring a tablet to take pictures of the show? (I'm seeing Ghost December 2nd) I'm asking because there are some venues that won't allow professional photography items and I'm unsure if tablets go in that category.

Alice Cooper allowed all fans to take phone photos and video. Each artist must have his own policy. Normally a professional camera means removable lens. Phone the venue and ask. My friend had to take his camera back to the car in Roanoke, Luckily we we're early and he still made the concert. Same concert I took 200 phone photos. IMHO, a tablet would count the same way of phone is that is a be allowed. However there are artists like Dylan who just don't want their images out there. also I went to some musical productions in Myrtle Beach last month and no photography was allowed there. You can't base it on what happened before. Call the venue.

For the Bob Dylan concert, there was a warning that using a tablet or a phone to record would result in you being removed from the premises. I think it would be different from act to act, the tickets will sometimes have a warning as well.
