Don't go on the beach. I got creamed by a killer wave out of nowhere at low tide!
Safety isn't really an issue unless your children like to climb 4' walls...then yes very dangerous..i have a 6-5& 1-1/2 yr old and I don't let them out of my sight
It should be safe people and area wise, but if they're very young, just make sure they don't climb the walls
Safe wall is 4' to 5' and people everybody is nice and respectful , clean
As long as they don't need special attention will be fine.
