Yes...if u want to fish from the shore. The pier closes at 10, but you can fish on the left of the pier on the shore all night!
David I suggest you go fish pillar point breakwater. It is located about 15 to 20 minutes south right next to the harbor. You can't miss it on the right hand side of highway 1. Bring squid for the rock fish and shrimp for perch.
Check your regs-the coast and bay waters should be open 24/7 with only local closures such as piers and regional parks.
you need to check the fishing regulation. I don't think you can fish all night long.
