After the beach sticker checkers leave, around 4ish, you should be fine. It's only because the beaches get so crowded with kids and people with all their stuff that they restrict dogs in the summer--but what's a beach without dogs, right??

Unfortunately dogs aren't allowed on beach during tourist season until everyone clears out. There is a dog park under construction at Hathaway pond on Phinneys lane near 23rd 132. Have fun.
