Do they actually close at 6?

I think they lock the gates at 7 or 8. You can still walk in.

7 to 8 p.m. depending on sunset is absolutely correct! You can also reach the park from the Oceanside if you go all the way down to the jetty. But you can't bring an animal from that direction
