No

Carmel River State Beach south of town and west of the Carmel Mission does not allow fires. Carmel-by-the-Sea City Beach does allow small controlled fires, not massive bonfires. Only wood. Only in fire rings. Only south of 10th Avenue. You may bring portable propane fire rings of your own, also only south of 10th.
