Carmel needs to fix up the park. They put up cones months ago for dangerous rust areas. But instead of fixing it they just took down the cones and put some tape on it.

Small park great place to bring your dog and kids.

Forest Hills Park is a small park with bathrooms (didn’t check if they are open) and a few benches. It may be worth it if you have kids as there is a playground, but dog owners should skip it. I approached the park from Mission Street via Second Ave. There aren’t any sidewalks and the park is so small you’re better off just walking your dog around downtown, going to the beach, or checking out Mission Trails Park, which is a way better option for pups.

I think Monday, Wed. , Friday and Saturdays are great pickleball days. 9 to 11. Just show up. Good people and players with balls. There is a bathroom down the hill. Parking is rough. They are pretty good players, especially the women. Beat me up. Tuesday's you can play at the Grove. I should up Tuesday and only Krista should up around 9:45, but we played 5 or 6 games. It can be very cool and misty in the morning, so bring layers.
Will play there this summer.
