can I bbq at the beach

I haven't seen grills or anyone b-b-qing there. So not sure

California State Parks has banned open fires on their beaches but their website states: "For the purposes of cooking, a raised and self-contained gas camp stove may be used."

They have metal bbq pots on the beach that you can use 🙂

Charcoal BBQs are banned at both Carmel River State Beach & Carmel City Beach.

I've never seen BBQ pits at Carmel River State Beach
