Any damage or cleaning, out of the ordinary, will be your responsibility. I rented a car for about 2 weeks, transported my dog several times. When I returned the car they noticed some dog hair so they got someone to sweep the car out, and I think check for damage. There was no additional charge. If your dog digs a hole in the seat or carpet plan on paying for it.

They didn't tell me not to ride with pets. Just no smoking
