Dear Marilyn, To add to the hotel manager's response, bed bugs are a nationwide problem and most hotels have had them. We actually implemented a very effective inspection procedure several years ago when the problem of bed bugs first began. Our housekeepers are trained to look for these pests on a daily basis as they change linens and clean the rooms. All of our mattresses and box springs are protected with mattress encasements. In addition, we are continually rotating in-depth inspections of rooms where beds are taken apart, headboards and pictures are taken down and furniture moved. We have no control of when these pests enter our rooms, but we work diligently to combat them if/when they arrive. Thank you for contacting us. Lis, Assistant to the Owner
Hello Marilyn, We haven't had bed bugs in while. Our Housekeeper's and Maintenance technician inspects 3 rooms daily. We keep a log of all rooms thats has been inspected. If we have a positive room with bedbugs, we put the room out of service. Pending of the festation a professional pest control will service the room until it's ready to rent. We take these matters very seriously. Thank you for inquiring. Have a great day. -Anna Flores General Manager
