The room is spacious. Even the bathroom has a lot of space. The wardrobe is large and has a flat iron and ironing board as well. There's ice machine in every floor. The lobby is big and stylish. Staff are friendly and look after you.

Most of who I encountered working the front desk were friendly. The night I checked in, I was helped by a wonderful lady whose name starts with an M (I had a long drive and was tired). She explained the parking structure and said if I changed my mind to just come back to the desk. More on the parking later. We went up to the room, everything was clean and tidy. Perfect? No. A stain on the very end of the bedsheet that looked like makeup. Some faint stains on the towels as well. Overall, it looked and smelled like everything had been washed. The water pressure for the was low but that's just an observation, not a complaint. No issues with the shower or anything else. PARKING: I had already read the reviews about how tricky the parking structure was so I was prepared for the worst. To my surprise, it really wasn't as bad as I expected. There is a big sign that says it's narrow and it's also plainly obvious as soon as you get in. On the bright side, at least it doesn't get more narrow the further you go. It's clear that they tried to provide as many spots as possible but in doing so, the lane in and out of the structure is tight. You definitely should not bring an expedition/yukon sized vehicle. Smaller sized trucks (ranger, tacoma, etc.) should be fine. Sedans should definitely be fine. I went slow and managed to get my car in and out unscathed. Look, if you really don't want to risk a scratch there is parking across the street but, it is more expensive.

Sorry for the late response, but it was and it is small.
I was there for a work event recently and quite of bit of people were smoking at the outdoor pool area. Not sure if it's truly allowed but worthy of an ask!
I just stayed a month ago and I didn't experience racial issues just run of the mill poor customer service from the room service department.
I would think free if you're booking a toom. I used Uber to get around.
If you arrive early, they will work with you to get a room ready for you asap
Driving is only 7 minutes between the zoo and the hotel. If you don't have a car, you can easily get an Uber or Lyft to take you for cheap. Easy peasie!
The shuttle started running about 5:30am , not sure what time it stops at night. Airport pickup was by appointment, so make sure you call the hotel.
There is metered street parking around the hotel, starting/ending at various times. But, if you're in a pinch, you can park overnight for free on the street if you move your car in the morning.
