Planning on out of town guest of color. Given how people of color are not welcome at DoubleTree Portland, Oregon, I need to verify there will not be any issues, or need I book elsewhere?

I just stayed a month ago and I didn't experience racial issues just run of the mill poor customer service from the room service department.

I hope in 2018 there won't be racial issues, but if so I highly suggest you hold them accountable and report it. Nonetheless, my wife and I are both African American, and we did not experience any issues. We had a very pleasant stay.
