I spent 1 hour and 20 minutes shopping at Trader Joe’s this morning, my parking ticket was validated yet I was charged for parking ! What is that ? I saw no signs indicating I was going to be charged. Not happy about this.

There are signs everywhere including at the cash registers. Hopefully the parking garage company only charged you $3. Trader Joe's has nothing to do with the parking garage. Trader Joe's has an arrangement with the garage for an hour free.

Trader's Joe at this location offers 60 mns free parking, you pay after that.
