Yes. Family success center is the middle man that connects you to housing assistance depending on your individual situation or circumstances. They can and should help.. They have several different housing programs such as rapid rehousing which includes providing a case worker assigned to you. They get all the necessary details and documents that are required to determine how much and how long you may need assistance. The rent is paid in increments from 100% of the rent first month to 80% the next and 50% until the year is over and you are back able to pay your rent in full 100% . This is a good program if you know you can keep a job and have your job for sure in another year or you will be back in the same situation you initially started from because you won't be able top afford your rent. The rent prices keep getting more expensive and it may be difficult to save money. Other programs such as financial capability and lihelp etc for utilities and financial assistance.
With me they promised to help but I don't see that happening yet. It's been more than a month.
They help with one time rental assistance and I believe a similar program for home owners but I'm not sure that they provide housing itself. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable responds.
