You can go in person and they will make you fill some documents with the informarion of the people that will get married. You could fill that up online on their website to save you sometime since they will already have it and will just look it up for your review. Both parties need to be there since they will check each persons ID and both need to sign the document. The fee is $50. Also if you know who will be performing the ceremony then have that information available. If not, I dont think it matters since you have 65 days to do the ceremony after you get the license. I hope this helps.
I should rephrase. I need to obtain my marriage certificate. A copy of it. Do I just go to the town clerk and say hi I need a copy of my marriage certificate?
