Yes they most certainly can & will help you! They will let you stay ONE NIGHT no exceptions if you get there by 4:30pm (it would nof hurt to get there at 4pm) to get in line for the night because they will take u to where u will get food, shower, & sleep at 5pm. However, if you need them for any longer than one night you must have an application filled out by the second night & within a week of being there u will need to have signed up for a short assignment & complete it all within the first 7 days. THEY ARE VERY STRICT!!! MUST FOLLOW ALL RULES & REQUIREMENTS TO STAY!!! ALSO KEEP IN MIND: This was as of December 2017 when my friend needed them for a week! Hope this helps, GOD BLESS!! Sorry, but that's only in the winter to keep people from freezing. The only thing I can suggest is to try the women's shelter, but that will require a lot of patience. As far as helping your granddaughter, they can and will help point you in the right direction. Hope this helps. Be Blessed!!
