Yes sorta, it's a lovely long walk to the dog park with benches along the way. Nice place to come read a book or meditate even if you don't have a dog. Of course if anyone doesn't have a dog make your life fun and adopt a dog!
As Linda Balchen noted, it's a very pretty park in general and the walk from the parking area to the park "proper" is a nice stroll. There are not hiking or walking trails separate from the main park that we saw when we took our husky to play.
