We made reservations in January of 2022 for our 24 foot pontoon boat with a double Bimini top. We called on Thursday (2 days before our arrival) to confirm this. They confirmed it. We came today (7/30/22), and the boat we reserved was given to someone else who made reservations after us. We are frustrated as we have 3 young kids that needed extra shade. When my husband went to talk to the office, he spoke with a Christine who was very rude. She did not care that this happened to us, and made no effort to remedy the situation whether it be a discount on the boat or upgrade us to another boat. Since we already drove 2 hours, especially with 3 young kids, we proceeded and brought extra umbrellas we had in our car for the boat. The boat they gave us was unclean, un maintained, had ants, no depth finder. After many years of coming here, we will no longer return here after the poor customer service at the front desk. I do want to note, the workers on the outside were nice, but we’re stuck with what the front office directed. Update to respond to Captain Mark: first off, the person checking in was my husband, and he was not rude but frustrated that he was told the day before he had a double Bimini. The office staff Christine, also told him the person who got the double Bimini made the reservation 2 months after us, and did not specify on their reservations that they wanted a double Bimini until the day off. Why would your staff tell us that in the first place? That’s what made my husband even more frustrated. Your staff could have been more understanding of the mistake and offered a discount instead is say “ you can just cancel”. Why would we cancel when we drove 2 hours away, all our stuff was out in a cart on the deck, and we had our 3 kids under the age of 5 out of the car expecting to go on a boat? There were no options. Horrible customer service, not family friendly. I am sure we will have a better experience elsewhere as you have set the bar low. I leave reviews so other families don’t get stuck with the experience we had.

Yes you can there is a designated Air Boat route you must adhere to while on the river.
No porta potty we rented in Feb saw both manatees and dolphins
