Warning!!! I wouldn't let them near the water!! We saw a 3 foot gator that seems to consider the pond his home. Smallish for an alligator but definitely big enough to kill a dog or take a person's hand or arm.
Yes they actually have built a gated dog park in bluebird where dogs can run free
