Is there a group in this area that will collect and treat birds with injuries? If so, there is a large white duck with a badly infected left leg.

If it's the white Peking duck... I inquired with our Parks Dept Director last week...and confirmed it was a duck with either a birth defect or a 'lame leg' that is otherwise fine... able to function and authorities determined no action should be taken.
