Yes but you would be better off going through DHS NYC. for homeless placement since you have children or women's services. They can do more to accommodate you and your children's needs.

You don't want to take your kids to the shelter! It is a first come first serve operation everyday! And people will and do fight on the street for who is going to get a bed for the night! All i can say is God bless you and God bless where our country is headed!
