I am currently homeless in Charlotte NC and have nowhere to turn. It’s just me, no partner, no kids. Options for someone like me are scared out here, do I have any chance of being able to come up there and get resources?

The best way to find long-term shelter, which may lead to permanent housing, is to go through the Department of Homeless Sevices. The main intake for single men is on 30th Street and for women it's in the Bronx. They'll assess your situation and place you in a city shelter, which ain't no picnic so good luck!

Just show up & go through the entrance. They'll take care of you. Keep in mind, this is a religious based shelter, but open to anyone. They are the only ones I trust staying at, there's not a single shelter I'd have anyone go to.

It's an emergency shelter for 7 Days and after that you will be put into a lottery system and if your name and number is called you will be given another 7 Days to sleep and then you can speak to an ambassador and that person will explain all of the resources that's available for you. Good luck I do, hope that this helps. 🍻🍺
