Yes pictures can be taken but only one waterfall was running when we were there
The waterfalls are real close to the walk area so you can take close pictures
Not next to the falls, we were there last week and a Tree fell in to the water next to the public swimming area, so it wouldn't be a good idea to be next to the waterfalls, for safety reasons
