We have gone twice. Once the beginning of June, once the beginning of July. We saw a gator both times, but both times they swam away from us.

There are gators, although I haven't seen any, even if you do encounter one, the chances of it attacking- let alone approaching is extraordinarily low. There is no need for concern regarding alligators.

I know they're there, but haven't seen any. From what I understand, they're pretty avoidant. I did however get to see a little pack of (I think) otters playing around on the side of the river.

I was born and raised here in south Florida and hunted and airboated all my life. I only asked as my wife and kids always ask about the Gators ....lol

Yes, every time we go. But they have never bothered anyone as far as I know.

Went this Saturday, rode down the springs twice and only saw one gator sunbathing. Saw otters as well.
