Blueberries are at their peak this weekend. We estimate over 75,000 pounds are ripe and on the bushes as of today. In fact, since the U-Pickers won't be able to pick them all, we are bringing in a team of people to pick them on Sunday afternoon so that thousands of pounds don't go to waste.
There were soooo many blueberries there when we picked at the beginning of the season, April 10th. Most were not ready yet. But we picked over 6 lbs in less than an hour. Maybe you should call the patch before you go to see how the crop is on a specific day.
