That's about the largest I use with large format tile
Hi Lexi, Thank you for your question. We go by the manufacturer's recommendations for the given tile. Those are determined by tile size, shape, edge shape and thickness. In some cases that is 3/16", in some cases that would could be 1/8". We would work with you to find a tile that would fit your design esthetics and needs. Hope to see you soon!
