RIP Jody, you are missed. I went in to get dovetail work done, (A job that Jody had done twice for me before on other pieces). NO RESPECT, UNPROFESSIONAL. They refused to help me and ridiculed me for requesting dovetails. I even tried to explain that I was not in a rush and did not mind waiting a few months for the machine work. They basically told me if I wasn’t there to buy an AR, they don’t have time to talk to me. It’s not a gunsmith anymore, it’s just an assembly shop. I’m sorry for the many competition shooters I have referred in the past. People used to ask me in the state match where I got my sights and barrel done and I used to proudly say JoJo’s. I don’t think I can say that anymore. I they were just mean and rude for no reason.

I brought my Colt 38 special to Jojo and was told that it would be ~1 month to look at it. That was 6/20; called 7/27, jojo said he was very busy. I asked for a time frame, he wouldn't commit to one. I asked if he wanted me to bring it somewhere else, he got angry and rude. He stated that if I brought the gun to the factory, they would send me to Jojo's. He told me to come and pick up my gun...really?? Jojo is the only gunsmith in the state of CT that can fix my colt 38 special? Give me a break, Jojo.

Did just ok on the stippling. It was nothing like my other pistol couple years ago. I don’t think I’ll be back here. Had to touch it up and even out the edges. One side wasn’t the same as the other. Looked rushed. That kind of money spent I expect perfection.
