"No Swimming" signs are posted, and since this is Florida, any body of water has the potential for alligators. That said, dogs play in the water quite a bit; but, as with any outdoor area for dogs, the dog owner is responsible for the safety and well-being of their pet(s).
There is a kids park right next to the dog park, and there is an alligator warning so that may explain why I have never seen anyone swimming there.
Yes, it's just dogs and their owners. The water is not safe to swim in. There are a number of no swimming signs posted.
It is not just for dogs.
There are no-swimming and alligator signs but I've seen people swim. I wade in the water with the dogs sometimes.
No swimming! It's beautiful! There is an area for kids and also next door is a memorial park too.
