Always enjoy stopping in at Dinky Dock for the quiet but active vibe, and with "Dinky Duck" reliability attached to the swimming demarcation rope, you'll always know the water temperature too.

Decent dock to launch onto the Winter Park chain prefer to launch out of Maitland but they're closed at the moment. Lots of college kids and tourists in the way of the boat ramps expect to deal with first-timers idiocracy and tourism

This was the first time my kids been kayaking and they love it .. I was pleased as well .. was real fun

Great little park, easy to find. Plenty of parking. Clean restrooms. Lots of benches to sit and watch the water. Great boat ramp.

Just go there. They have them there
There's a swimming area, a dock, and a shady area to sit in on the sand (plus public bathrooms). Beyond that you really need to bring your own supplies for activities. It's a fun place, I'm there with my kids almost once a week.
Bring a swim bouy. Free! Don't worry about alligators they're not interested in you and I think that lake doesn't have any left in it anyway and if they do they're awfully small cuz I never see them anymore.
No, but i feel like the name should be changed to dunky dock park now!
Yes
Yes .
Yes but right now dinky dock is no charge. Lk Maitland still costs$6.00 per day.
Theres a No Dogs on Beach sign...but only enforced on the weekends and very rarely. My friend bring their little pug all the time.
