I am considering having our 7 month old kitten declawed--we adopted her from the Berkeley Co. shelter. Are there any local Vets that perform this procedure? Thank you. Kathleen

The only answer I can give is "Please Don't". Declawing a cat is the equivalent of pulling a humans fingernails out. Have a vet show you how to trim nails. I do it regularly with my two rescue kittens. Start young and it's not a problem.
