If you get an extended warranty from the dealer when you buy a used vehicle how long should you expect your vehicle be in the service department at that dealer before it is even started to be worked on? A day or two? A week?

I was offered a complimentary very nice rental car from Enterprise Rental Car, down the street, at HB Ford expense. They had to get approval from Manufacturer and order parts. It was Transmission, warranty work, took about two weeks. I WAS OK THEIR EXPENSE

Depends on the work to be done and the availability of parts if necessary, but they shoul've given you a certain time that your car will be finished and ready for pickup. If it's an extended period of time I would talk to the manager and ask about a free rental.

They should have told you but expect at least a week
