I wouldn't do that but maverick is a great place.
I've been going there since 2004 and they have always given my furbabies the best in care and in any surgeries they needed. yup it's busy, yup it's crowded. they have a huge practice because people trust them to do the best job and the do.
Putting any animal (or person) under anesthesia is risky, to say the least, as is surgical and postoperative risks of infection, or worse. Even though I believe it is cruel to cosmetically alter an animal, and the animal does not get a say in the matter...at least read some of the postings about how Maverick's exam rooms are often dirty, and surgeries being done with doors open, no sterile gloves, no face masks, and people and some sick pets...I have witnessed such, and so have others. I care about animals, greatly, and I gave Maverick more opportunities than I should have, due to low cost, but it was wrong. It was detrimental to the welfare of mine, and other people's pets. I hope you will reconsider cosmetic surgery on your dog. And, I hope you find another vet, someone who will actually care properly for your animal -- for the well being of your so-called "best friend." Cheap does not always mean good. And, again, please reconsider the risks you put your puppy through.
Yes i believe they do. Best bet is to call during off hours and leave a message and they will return your call. Cause they are so busy during hours its hard to get a person on the phone. But they are awesome and they are the cheapest you are gonna find. Good luck!!!
