Depending on what section of the City you live that taking the cat to a County or City run shelter is the suggestion. City shelter if you live in an incorporated section of the City or the County shelter if your residence is in an unincorporated section of Bakersfield. At the time of this writing, The Cat People are full up with the arrivals of kittens from Spring.
the cat ppl.i have a rescue adult male. i took him on clinic day. he was neutered and medically assisted. he had a 3in abcess on his hind leg. they cleaned it, stitched it up and gave me antibotics. they r god sent over there. they love cats n love doing what they do. look them up.bakersfield east side by SPCCA. wishing u n ur furbaby well.
