It's hard to choose but I would choose sequioa national park it is a must
I have been to both. I used to work and live in Sequoia years ago, then lived in S.F. And visited Redwwods N.P. a lot. The answer is a tough one, Sequoia is up in the Sierras, with a lot of mountain hiking, beautiful big trees, while Redwoods N.P. covers a lot of smaller "parks". Lady Bird Johnson and Fern Canyon stick out to me the most. While seqouia is beautiful, it has one main road through a corner, which funnels everyone into "one" spot, or area, but if you walk a few kilometers on trails you see less and less people. Redwoods N.P. is more spread out, and because of that seemed almost less crowded (If any park in CA can be considered less crowded....) But it all depends on what time of year, and if you'd rather see the world's largest tree, fight through traffic to beautiful trails; or go to a more spread out park. I know this probably didn't help too much.... But to recap I would say Seqouia can feel busier, unless you go a little ways out on trails-while Redwoods
for me, sequoia park you must visit it if or if. the vastness of the trees you will not find anywhere else
