If you adopt from AWL it's 160.00 for the adoption fee which includes the shots, spay/neuter surgery, microchip and leash/collar, plus a 10 day health guarantee! I would really consider taking a look around the shelter and other local shelters to see if you see a dog that grabs at your heart. It's not cheap to own a pet, but it's a wonderful experience. They truly add to your life! Stop by and take a look around!

If you adopt an puppy or dog from animal welfare, it woukd be about $180. Everything included. I got both my dogs from there. A Siberian Husky and a German Shepherd. Adopt and save a life

Amy Peterka I don't think they were planning to do ALL of THAT at a full cost vet if they are looking to adopt from the AWL.

Puppy shots, every 3 weeks, about $80-100 each visit. Dewormings, Heartworm and flea prevention monthly (about $30 a month) a good, high quality food, about $40 A bag, spay/neuter at 6-7 months old, at a good, clean clinic, approx $300 (pre-surgical blood workup/ecollar/ microchip) ..... for starters!!
