I have a male cat about 4 months old. He will come in the house to eat and will play but will not let you touch him. What should I do?

Get cat treats and make him come to you, hand feed him the treats, when he takes the treat, touch him with a finger first and work up to your hand. You have to get him to trust you. And he will over time.

we have 2 male kittens, almost 6 months. we got them when they were 2-3 months old. one is very affectionate, the other is standoffish. The standoffish one is getting more and more affectionate and purrs a lot now when we are allowed to touch his ears and get an occasional tummy rub, but if it goes on too long he'll get up and walk away. but he's getting sweeter as time goes by. He definitely prefers to be petted when he's on the ground and not crazy about being picked up. they are only inside kitties. Just be patient and act like it's no big deal. sort of "ok, no skin off my nose". 😆
