Common courtesy for customers is to read the posted hours of operation and refrain from entering. If you had entered, perhaps, 15 minutes before closing time, the response of the employees would probably have been gracious. Their response was discourteous to you, but you did force the error by entering after closing time.
That's laughable... there are many business owners in my family. If they care about their reputation they manage their business correctly with courtesy, turn their lights off, take their signs in, lock the doors... Not my problem anymore, I won't return.
