Is one of the best place for camping. River is just 100 feet away from the camping area. The restroom are always cleaning there is one person who is in charge to receive the visitor clean some areas, give information abaout the camping and taking care the people haven't recerved sapace out this area.. definitely making a great job.

Not sure about now but the trail to teacups was closed in July. The rivers are very full and way above water levels I'm previous years. Check with a ranger before considering the hike. The hike itself is the same, the river current is dangerous. When I went the teacups were not visible as it was under water.
Yes. There's a swimming hole called alligator rock that is located at the northern end of the grounds.
Yes you need a camping permit or reservation but there is a lot of space a lot of places where you camp and son are free.
There are only dedicated campgrounds and no first come first serve camping areas.
