Will be there in late December and will need to continue marathon training, are there certain trails or roads safe for runners that will be accessible this time of year? I've never been to Crested Butte.

The main roads should be maintained unsure how far up the hill will be cleared.. Beautiful place to run.

Trail running is going to be confined to the valleys below maybe 6,000 feet this time of year. I assume around 9,000 feet plowed roads are the only option for running. During ski season Crested Butte roads see some traffic so use caution.
