Moose sighting at the first trail junction marsh area. Lots of deer and fantastic water access for little kids. Fun fishing in the creek too. Heavy day use area and vacationers who think it's ok to pick flowers, otherwise a 5 star.

Beautiful campground! Great base camp for outdoor activities like mountain biking, hiking, backpacking and only 15 mins drive to town. We stayed a couple nights here and cant wait to go back!

It's always a pleasure to camp at OH Be Joyful. The river is crisp and clean and there is so much new growth around the campsite. I'll make it back later this summer for more fun!

Yes, although you will be freezing. I camped there during the summer and it was frigid at night.
Yes, but you have to come prepared with your own firewood.
There are 3 sites that are first come first serve but they go fast.
Overnight is $10 per night, day use free I believe. I was from San Diego and I had TMobile, no cell service really. My friend who lives in Colorado springs had low service but was able to communicate through text. We had to drive to the town for service. Hope this helps!
