Lake Fork Campground

Very nice camp site with amazing views. Beware that showers are not working. We even called ahead because someone in our party has a medical condition and needs to shower regularly. We were assured that the shower was functional but arrived to find out it has been broken since the winter. Tim is good at his job and deserves a raise.

This campground provide an amazing v lake and mountains view. Campground has a clean washrooms( flush toilets) and showers. Upper loops with the location number 30 to 36 provide a perfect lake view.All the location numbers in Middle loop and lower loops provide lake view. Initially we reserved location number 62 ,it was not having a lake view and was bit congested,since location 33 ( with lake view) was not reserved,host was kind enough to give us that location.

This is a place for RV’s and travel trailers. Lots of pavement! Not as much dirt or grass for “camping.” Don’t show up with a tent and expect to have the run of the place. Many pull through paved sites and others for back in. I had a roof top tent. I made it. No cover, no shade. Does have water. Does have clean rest rooms. Does have flushing toilets. Showers are not always available. Showers may be run by a separate company. Not avail during COVID-19. Lots of wind. Great view of the lake.

This campground location provides an excellent view of the lake and the surrounding scenery. The restrooms have water but no showers. They were in a good shape, clean and well maintained. Half of the camping areas were unavailable which I assumed was due to the social distancing procedures. There are only few spots designated for tents. Other spots are designated for RV and trailers with limited space for setting a tent. If you are planning to use an RV spot to set a tent, it is good to view the location you are reserving using Google map or campground map to determine if there is enough dpace for a tent.
