They aren't free but they are chipped fixed and have all their shots,I know you'll find a new friend to love and love you,we've gone their a few times,we were very happy but cried because their were so many,any of them,but we love cats,and we got an older boy he latched on to us right away.And in the back where they keep the ones that don't feel so well,I found a little BABYGIRL (That's her name) screaming over and above the other kitties,she was sick but I took both of them home,BABYGIRL is a plump 28 lbs.Buddy unfortunately passed on .I know what it's like to loose a FRIEND. These two cats replaced a black and white we got for a wedding gift in 1995 he was with us 20 years.Sweetest little cat I've ever had.Good luck.
