Hi! We do occasionally receive Huskies at our Adoption Center. Please check our website at www.broward.org/animal. If you see a Husky listed, please come in right away since this breed is popular and adopted very quickly. Our adoption fees are WAIVED--there is no adoption fee. The $20 referred to below is a deposit and only applies if a pet is still under "hold time." This is the 3-5 day period where we are waiting to see if the pet's owner will come forward to pick him up. Once the hold time is over, the pet is available at no cost.
Different breeds are there and the puppies are usually the first to get adopted. If the dog has been there less than 5 days they will need to be there for at least that amount of time to receive their first round of vaccinations. Its $20 to adopt a pet, and if the original owner returns your $20 is kept on hold to be placed on another pet.
They might have huskies.. I saw one there... It's $20.00 to adopt right now.
