We are happy to say that our adoption fee is waived (there is none). The only time there will be a charge will be if you select a dog or cat who is still under a "hold time"--we are waiting to see if their owner is going to come to claim them. For such pets, there will be a $20 non-refundable deposit taken in order to hold the pet under your name. If the owner does not come forward, you will be able to adopt the pet at no additional cost. All of our adoptions includes spaying/neutering; vaccinations, a Broward County pet license and a microchip.

We adopted a German Shepherd 2 weeks ago and the fees were waived although we did make a donation.

You paid a fee for the adoption. The fees is depend on the age and conditions of the pet.
