We bought tickets online ahead of time but there are also kiosks available to buy tickets once you get there
It's back to buying tickets at gate.
If you do it online make sure you print or use your phone to pull up the QR code to scan in at the entrance line

As Rachel said, you can, but if you have a smartphone I would strongly suggest you buy through the app. Another thing of note, at least when I went, there were multiple lines to GET INTO the Center PAST the ticket booths. Regardless of how you get your ticket, I would highly advise you make sure you are in the shortest line. A massive line seems to exist just past the ticket booths, despite there being many other lines into the Center, which are half the size, or even smaller.
You can purchase on site or online. The lines can get really long there though. I do not know about discounts. They have an app if you’d like to research/plan your visit down to the minute. I found it helpful.
