Is there a "season" for whale watching? When would be the best time of year to see a whale?

I went in Early June and had a great view of Humpbacks and Dolphins.

The season runs from midApril through October with the best whale watching seen in June, July, August and September. During the summer months, the Humpbacks are here, along with Finbacks, Minkes, and their colorful “cousins” the Atlantic White-sided dolphin.
