Greetings. I am not sure when your comment was posted. We have changed the transfer policy, and have been admitting a number of clients from numerous facilities, including Crossroads. We have honored all transfer doses, although our program physician does have the right to request a serum level check for safety purposes.

"A serum level check for safety purposes " Also known as arbitrary dose capping above 100mg when federal guidelines specifically state not to dose cap The only reason you would request a peak and trough is concern the patient is a rapid metabolizer and you need to split the dose or the patient appears sedated and you're concerned the dose may be too high Checking most patients above 100mgs claiming they appear sedated is a dead give away of dose capping Arbitrarily checking blood levels is clear evidence of dose capping especially when the patient comes from North Carolina and you're on a first name basis with the prior clinics medical director
