Do you know if they have senior discounts?
Never been there.
Outdoor public pools are available in nearby Lancaster, Platteville, and Dubuque, but are seasonal. The Mississippi river is available to swim in, but the nearest, official, public beach that I can find is the Wyalusing Recreation Area up near Prarie du Chein ( two miles south of the Wyalusing State Park). If you want to swim in the Mississippi near the Grant River Recreation Area, you can not swim from the boat dock/ramp. You could probably walk into the river anyplace else in the park, but the shoreline is rocky with protective rip-rap. The water in August looked pretty shallow and there were a lot of aquatic weeds ( which probably means a muddy river bottom). If you choose to do that, I would wear tennis shoes to protect your feet from lost fish hooks and sharp rocks/clam shells. As with anywhere in the Mississippi River other than a designated swimming beach, I would wear a life jacket in case you stepped into an unseen hole ( the water is too murky to see the bottom ).
No not from campground but if you have a boat they can't stop you from swimming in the river
No
No. You'd have to go to Dubuque to their pool.
Sorry but don't think so
