Excellent Army Corp Campground on the Mississippi River. Good 50 amp power. Close to Field of Dreams. Potosi Brewery was a bonus. Excellent museum there. Views of the river were beautiful. Mayflies were hatching. Trains run right next to the campground but I got used to them.

Price was good but trains are loud all night camp site are on top of each other Did catch fish 🎣

Beautiful campground, most of the sites are spacious, ours is HUGE. Could use a few more fresh water spigots and a voltage regulator. Lots of birds and bunny rabbits, a few turtles. Great firewood available just outside the park. There's a little free library and a couple of small playgrounds.

DON’T STAY HERE!! Unless you are the worlds heaviest sleeper. I did read the reviews before staying here, but everyone else was so nonchalant about the train and gave it such a high rating saying it was a beautiful park nonetheless, that I figured it wasn’t so bad. Wrong. I live on the road full time and had nowhere to go besides here for two weeks. Non stop train horn ALL DAY ALL NIGHT. Jerks you awake at night, super loud horn. I’m miserable. You’re about 100 yards from the track, if even, so it also shakes your whole camper when it passes. Just save yourself money and go somewhere else if you can. You won’t enjoy your trip here unless you’re the type of person who could sleep through a nuclear war.
