The fee is to enter the park. Once you are in there is no charge to park or visit the fort or the piers.

$5.00 per car. Free for handicapped. Military might be free but I am not 100% sure on that. You can check Ft.Desoto website.

I think it's a small fee to enter the site. We had a handicap parking placid so it was free.
